These guidelines are here to help you prepare your file for the optimum print. If you require any help or have any queries then don't hesitate to ask us, one of our team will be more than happy to assist.

Accepted File Types:

  • JPG (JPEG)
  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
  • TIF (Tagged Image File Format)
  • PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
  • AI (illustrator)

Resolution:

  • Recommended resolution: 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch)
  • Colour Mode: RGB or CMYK

Scale:

  • The system will attempt to detect the resolution of the design; default is 300 DPI.
  • Reducing scale makes the design smaller but prints with greater detail.
  • Increasing scale makes the design larger but prints with less detail.
  • Enlarging too much may cause loss of detail and make the image appear blurry or pixelated.

Color:

  • Files should be in RGB or CMYK.
  • Use a CMYK or sRGB v2 or v4 colour profile (ICC) for your design.
  • Avoid uploading files in Greyscale.
  • Try to use a composite Black(K) for best results in CMYK mode.
  • Increasing colour saturation enhances brightness and boldness.
  • Ensure sufficient contrast between dark colours to prevent blending.
  • High contrast between colours is recommended for fine detail printing.

File Upload.

If you are having difficulties with your file upload this could be due to file size. We recommend resizing your file smaller or sending via WeTransfer to [email protected] with your order reference.

Samples.

We always recommend ordering a sample before placing your order. Depending on your design, our fabrics may give a different outcome due to the base colour and texture and print process.

We specialise in printing designs exactly as you send them. To ensure optimal print quality, it's crucial that the designs are seamless, meaning the pattern will step and repeat top to bottom and left to right. Numerous guides are available on the internet for your favorite design application to help you achieve this.

Purchasing designs online:

When acquiring designs from online designers, we recommend adhering to the following guidelines:

File Integrity:

  • Ensure that the files provided by designers meet our specifications.
  • Do not alter the file types, as this may affect the print outcome.

Verification:

  • Confirm that the provided files comply with the seamless design requirements outlined in our guidelines.

ICC Profiles:

  • Check that ICC profiles are embedded in the files for accurate color representation during printing.

Originals Only:

  • Always send the original files to avoid any loss of quality during the printing process.

By following these guidelines, you can help us deliver the best possible print results and also help us optimise your design files for printing, ensuring better results in terms of resolution, colour, and overall quality. Users are encouraged to follow these recommendations for optimal printing outcomes. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected]

Here's a few tips on creating your perfect bespoke living space.

Colour Palette:

  • Choose a colour palette that reflects your style and preferences. Consider the overall mood you want to create in each room. Whether it's calming and neutral or vibrant and bold, sticking to a consistent colour scheme will help create a harmonious look.

Fabric and Texture:

  • Select fabrics and textures that complement each other. If you're using a variety of materials, ensure they work well together. For example, pair smooth, sleek fabrics with textured ones for balance.

Pattern Coordination:

  • If you're incorporating patterns, make sure they coordinate rather than clash. You can choose a dominant pattern for larger items like curtains or cushions and use smaller, complementary patterns for accent pieces.

Furniture Style:

  • Ensure that the style of your furniture pieces complements each other. Whether you prefer modern, traditional, or eclectic, having a consistent theme will tie everything together.

Proportions and Scale:

  • Pay attention to the proportions and scale of your furnishings. A well-balanced room considers the size of each item in relation to the space. Avoid overcrowding or having items that look out of place in terms of size.

Accessories and Decor:

  • Coordinate accessories like vases, candles, or artwork with the overall theme. These smaller details can have a big impact on the overall aesthetic of a room.

Functionality:

  • Consider the practical aspects of your furnishings. Ensure that each item serves a purpose and fits well within the functionality of the space.

Personal Touch:

  • Add personal touches to make the space uniquely yours. This could be through custom-made items, family heirlooms, or DIY projects that reflect your personality.

Lighting:

  • Don't forget about lighting. It can greatly influence the ambiance of a room. Choose lighting fixtures that complement the overall design and provide adequate illumination.

Trial and Error:

  • Sometimes, it's a matter of trial and error. If possible, arrange and rearrange your furnishings until you find the most pleasing arrangement.

Remember, the key is to create a space that reflects your personal style and makes you feel comfortable. Experiment with different combinations until you achieve the desired look for each room in your home.
